Securitas is recruiting experienced Corporate Security Officers for a high-security warehouse facility in the Heathrow area.
This role offers a genuine opportunity to achieve Security Clearance (SC) and build a long-term career within a professional environment, supported by industry-leading training and benefits.

š° Pay: Ā£17.00 per hour
š Hours: 42ā48 hours per week | Days, nights & weekends | 4 on / 4 off

ā ļø Before You Apply - This site requires SC (Security Clearance). To be eligible for the clearance, you must:
- Be a British national
- Hold a valid British passport
- Have lived in the UK continuously for the past 5 years

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal and external security patrols and routine equipment testing
- Monitor access control, CCTV and alarm systems (Bosch, Lenel) within a SOC environment
- Respond to alarms, investigate incidents and manage access control alerts
- Dispatch and coordinate Security Officers using radio and security systems
- Manage keys, locking/unlocking procedures and parking/traffic control
- Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service
- Log, investigate and escalate technical faults and security incidents
- Coordinate emergency incidents and liaise with first responders
- Maintain accurate records, logs and professional handovers
- Issue passes, manage visitors/contractors and lost property
- Identify and report health & safety concerns and unsafe practices
- Undertake any other duties as requested by Management

Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK with a minimum 5-year checkable history
- British National, resident in the UK for the last 5 years (SC requirement)
- Valid SIA licence (DS / SG / CCTV)
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle, with the ability to reach site within 45 minutes
- No current criminal convictions
- Strong commitment and dedication to completing the SC clearance process
- Previous experience as a Security Officer in the security industry
- Confident with using and in-depth knowledge of CCTV surveillance equipment, access controls and alarm systems, experience in the SOC environment is beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal English - and the ability to convey information to a third party in a concise manner
- Proficient in report writing to document incidents clearly and accurately
- Calm, professional approach under pressure and in high-stress situations ā maintaining attention to detail
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and incident management ā a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and respond to potential risks
- Strong IT knowledge, with proficiency in using software, databases, and communication systems
Desirable (but not essential)
- CCTV licence
- Security Management experience
