Corporate Senior Associate
4-6 years PQE - London
Brief
We are looking for a talented Corporate Lawyer to join our Corporate UK Energy and Resources team in London. This is a great opportunity for someone with 4–6 years’ PQE who enjoys working on high-quality M&A and joint venture transactions in the Energy and Resources sector, with a clear focus on oil and gas transactions.
You will be joining a collaborative, ambitious and supportive team with access to complex, high-profile work and the opportunity to build strong client relationships in a sector-focused practice.
The Team
Join our Corporate Team at Pinsent Masons LLP – London
Our Corporate UK team is looking for a Corporate Lawyer to support continued growth in the energy and resources sector. You will work closely with experienced senior corporate partners, including Rosalie Chadwick, Jonathan Woolf, and Chris Sawyer, on complex M&A and joint venture transactions, with a particular focus on oil and gas. This is an opportunity to be part of a highly regarded team, learn from recognised experts in the market, and contribute to work that is important to our clients and the wider sector.
The wider Corporate UK team at Pinsent Masons is known for advising on high-value, cross-border transactions across a broad range of sectors, including energy, insurance, and financial services. You will be joining a practice that is ambitious, well connected, and supportive, with the platform to develop your experience on meaningful and varied corporate work.

About You
We would love to hear from candidates who have developed strong corporate experience within a City, international, or leading regional practice. You will bring strong technical skills, sound commercial judgment, and a genuine interest in working closely with clients. Just as importantly, we are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, is keen to get involved in business development, and is motivated by the opportunity to grow within a collaborative and sector-focused environment.
- Experience in the oil and gas sector
- Strong experience in M&A and joint venture transactions
- Ideally at least 4 years’ PQE gained within an international law firm, City firm, or leading corporate practice
