Senior Tax Manager / Associate Director

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Tax Manager / Associate Director to join a leading independent accountancy and advisory firm and take a prominent role within its Nottingham office. This is a predominantly corporate tax position focused on delivering high-value advisory services to entrepreneurial businesses, owner-managed companies and larger corporate groups.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established independent accountancy and business advisory firm with a strong regional reputation and an impressive portfolio of entrepreneurial businesses, owner-managed companies and growing corporate groups.

The tax team is highly regarded for delivering commercially focused advice and is continuing to invest in its corporate tax capabilities. This opportunity offers the successful candidate significant visibility within the firm, the ability to influence growth strategy and the chance to become a key figure in the future success of the Nottingham office.

Unlike larger firms, where progression can often be constrained by structure, this role offers genuine autonomy, client ownership and a clear route to a more senior leadership position.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
