Corporate Solicitor in Leeds

As a Corporate Solicitor in Leeds, you will join a highly regarded corporate team advising clients on a broad range of complex transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 1 to 3 years PQE to gain exposure to M&A, private equity, public company transactions, and wider corporate matters within a large international firm.

Description

The Corporate Solicitor will be:

  • Working on mergers, acquisitions, and disposals for corporate clients
  • Supporting and leading acquisitions and disposals of businesses, assets, and shares
  • Working on public company transactions, including IPOs and equity fundraisings
  • Managing due diligence exercises, including data room reviews
  • Assisting with management and disclosure processes on buy-side and sell-side matters
  • Preparing and finalising disclosure letters and supporting transaction bundles
  • Drafting and negotiating ancillary transaction documents and completion documents
  • Advising on general corporate matters, including restructurings, shareholders' agreements, and joint ventures
  • Drafting principal documents for corporate restructurings and limited liability partnerships

Profile

The Corporate Solicitor should be:

  • A solicitor with 1 to 3 years PQE
  • Experienced in corporate transactions, ideally including M&A
  • Comfortable supporting or leading acquisitions and disposals
  • Familiar with due diligence, disclosure processes, and transaction documentation
  • Able to demonstrate experience of drafting and negotiating corporate documents
  • Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
  • Keen to develop their career within a large national or international law firm
