Corporate Solicitor Opportunities | Birmingham
A leading Birmingham law firm is looking to strengthen its highly regarded Corporate team with the appointment of two lawyers at key stages of their careers.

Corporate Solicitor (NQ-1 PQE)
Birmingham / West Midlands
This opportunity would suit a recently qualified, or soon-to-qualify, solicitor looking to establish themselves within a respected Corporate team known for the quality of its training and supervision. Working alongside experienced Partners and Senior Associates, you will gain exposure to a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity matters, management buyouts, corporate restructurings, and general corporate advisory work. The team prides itself on providing junior lawyers with meaningful responsibility from an early stage whilst ensuring they receive the support, mentoring, and technical development needed to thrive.
The Ideal Candidate
- Recently qualified or due to qualify as a Solicitor
- Up to 12 months' PQE within Corporate law
- Strong technical and commercial awareness
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to develop a long-term career in Corporate law
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Corporate Senior Associate (6+ PQE)
Birmingham / West Midlands
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join the team as a Senior Associate. This role sits at the heart of the Corporate practice, working closely with three experienced Corporate Partners and helping to lead a team of Corporate Associates. As such, it offers significant responsibility, strong client exposure, and a genuine opportunity to influence the future direction of the department. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing transactions, maintaining client relationships, supporting business development initiatives, and mentoring more junior members of the team. The position would suit an ambitious lawyer seeking a platform from which they can further develop their practice whilst progressing towards the next stage of their career.
The Ideal Candidate
- At least 6 years' PQE in Corporate law
- Proven experience handling a broad range of corporate transactions
- Comfortable running matters with appropriate Partner support
- Strong client management and business development skills
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
- Commercially minded with excellent technical ability
