Corporate Partner | Prestigious West End Platform | Established Workflow & Strong Referral Network
If you're a Corporate Partner looking for more than just a respected name, this is an opportunity to join a thriving West End firm where there is already a significant volume of corporate work waiting for the right individual.
Rather than joining a team where you'll be expected to build everything from day one, you'll step into an established practice with strong existing relationships, an extensive referral network and genuine capacity for growth. The current partners simply don't have the bandwidth to service all of the opportunities available, creating an excellent platform for the right lateral hire.
The Firm
This highly regarded West End law firm has been advising private clients, businesses and entrepreneurs for over 170 years and has built an enviable reputation for combining premium work with a highly collegiate culture. Relationships sit at the heart of the firm's approach, resulting in a loyal client base and a significant amount of repeat business.
The client base spans entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses, international companies, family businesses, private investors and high-net-worth individuals, with the Corporate team working closely alongside the firm's market-leading Private Wealth, Tax and Real Estate practices to deliver commercially focused advice.
The firm is entering an exciting period of strategic growth, actively investing across a number of practice areas and attracting senior lawyers from leading City and West End firms. Partners benefit from a genuinely collaborative environment where cross-referrals are encouraged and long-term relationships are prioritised over internal competition.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The Role
You will join an established Corporate team advising entrepreneurs, family businesses, international clients and corporates on a broad range of transactional and advisory matters.
The work spans mergers and acquisitions, investments, shareholder arrangements, restructurings, joint ventures and wider corporate advisory work, often involving complex cross-border elements and close collaboration with the firm's Tax, Private Wealth and Real Estate specialists.
A key attraction of this opportunity is the platform already in place. The team continues to receive a significant volume of high-quality corporate instructions and has developed an extensive network of introducers and referrers. The demand is there, but the existing partners do not have the capacity to maximise every opportunity, creating a genuine opportunity for a new partner to inherit high-quality work while continuing to grow the practice.
Alongside managing high-quality client relationships, you will play a visible role in the continued expansion of the department and wider firm, working closely with fellow partners to strengthen existing relationships and capitalise on new opportunities.
