Corporate Lawyer
Work Just 4 Days a Week - On a Full-Time Salary
Location: Mansfield (NG21)
Salary: Up to £60,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Are you looking to accelerate your career in corporate law without waiting years for meaningful responsibility?
Unlike larger multi-disciplinary firms, you'll work exclusively on corporate matters from day one, gaining hands-on experience across mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, company restructures, and private equity transactions. You'll work closely with experienced corporate lawyers who are passionate about developing the next generation of specialists.
Most importantly, you'll enjoy a genuine four-day working week while receiving a full-time salary, giving you more time to enjoy life outside work without compromising your career progression.
You'll become involved in a broad range of corporate transactions, gradually taking greater ownership as your confidence and experience develop.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting on share sales, asset sales, and acquisitions
- Supporting company restructures and shareholder agreement matters
- Drafting and reviewing corporate transaction documentation
- Conducting legal due diligence
- Managing transaction workstreams and coordinating deal progress
- Liaising with clients, accountants, and other professional advisers
- Supporting senior lawyers on mid-market M&A transactions
- Contributing to business development initiatives
- Continuously developing your specialist corporate law expertise

About You
We're looking for ambitious legal professionals who want to build a long-term career in specialist corporate law.
You'll must be:
- A Qualified Solicitor (NQ-3 PQE)
You'll also have experience of:
- Working on corporate transactions under the supervision of a Partner, Director, or other senior lawyer
- Supporting transactions throughout the full deal lifecycle, from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion matters
- Managing transaction administration, including timetables, document versions, workstreams, conditions, and communications with clients and professional advisers
- Taking ownership of delegated workstreams while recognizing when matters require escalation
- Demonstrating a genuine ambition to develop towards independently managing corporate transactions
Alongside your experience, you'll bring:
