Corporate Associate (2-4 PQE)

Location: Leeds (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £65,000+ DOE
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

CRA Consulting is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading commercial law firm to recruit a Corporate Associate to join its highly regarded Corporate team in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with between 2 and 4 years' PQE to become part of one of the region's most successful corporate practices. You'll work alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of high-value corporate matters while continuing to develop your technical expertise and commercial awareness within a genuinely supportive environment.

Unlike many larger corporate teams where work can become highly specialised, this opportunity offers exposure across the full spectrum of corporate transactions, enabling you to build a well-rounded practice and accelerate your career progression.

The Opportunity

As a Corporate Associate, you will advise a diverse client base including owner-managed businesses, SMEs and large corporates across a variety of industry sectors.

You will enjoy responsibility from the outset, managing your own transactions while supporting senior colleagues on larger, more complex deals.

Your work will include:

  • Advising on mergers and acquisitions, including domestic and international transactions
  • Supporting private equity investments, corporate restructures and general corporate advisory work
  • Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision while assisting on high-value transactions
  • Working on deals typically ranging from £5 million through to £100 million+
  • Building strong client relationships and collaborating with specialist teams across the firm
  • Contributing to networking and business development initiatives

About You

Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with:

  • 2-4 years' PQE gained within Corporate law
  • Strong experience advising on M&A transactions
  • Excellent technical knowledge and commercial awareness
  • The ability to manage matters effectively and work as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine ambition to broaden your corporate experience across multiple disciplines
