Corporate Solicitor (2–5 PQE)
Location: Bristol or Oxford | Hybrid Working
A leading Top 100 UK law firm is looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially minded Corporate Solicitor with 2–5 PQE to join its growing Corporate team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate solicitor looking to take the next step in their career with a highly regarded Top 100 practice, working alongside experienced partners and lawyers with backgrounds ranging from regional and national firms through to leading US and Magic Circle practices.
The firm has a strong corporate presence across Bristol and Oxford, with a wider team of almost 40 corporate specialists. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across both offices, meaning candidates with strong links to either the Oxford or Bristol market are encouraged to apply.
The Role
You will be involved in a broad range of high-quality domestic and international corporate transactions, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Private equity transactions
- Venture capital
- Group restructurings and reorganisations
- Corporate governance and general corporate advisory
- Domestic and cross-border transactions

The team acts for a diverse client base including corporates, institutional investors, founders and management teams, with particularly strong sector exposure across Technology and Health & Social Care.
There will also be opportunities to work alongside the firm's wider sector teams and become involved in business development and marketing activity.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified Corporate Solicitor with approximately 2–5 PQE
- Currently working within a regional, national or similarly well-regarded corporate team
- Experienced in supporting on M&A, private equity and/or venture capital transactions
- Commercially minded, with strong drafting and technical skills
- Interested in developing a career within a high-quality corporate practice
- A strong communicator who enjoys building relationships with clients and colleagues
- Proactive and keen to contribute to business development and the wider growth of the team
