Corporate Solicitor - Leeds
M&A, PE and Corporate Transactions | Hybrid Working
An expanding Leeds corporate team is looking to recruit an ambitious solicitor to advise on a broad range of high-quality M&A and corporate transactions.
This opportunity would suit a newly qualified solicitor seeking an excellent platform on which to build their corporate career or an associate with up to four years’ PQE who would welcome greater responsibility, early client exposure, and clear prospects for progression.
Overview
- Title: Corporate Solicitor / Associate
- Location: Leeds
- Salary: £55,000–£70,000, depending on experience
- PQE: NQ–4 years
- Working pattern: Full-time with hybrid and flexible working
- Reports to: Partner
Experience
Corporate transactional experience gained during a training contract or following qualification; exposure to M&A is particularly desirable
A broad range of quality corporate work
Working alongside experienced corporate lawyers, you will advise businesses, investors, shareholders, and management teams on transactions across a variety of sectors. The firm also boasts a team which focuses on health and health tech businesses including national independent healthcare providers.

Depending on your level of experience, your work will include:
- Advising on company, business, and asset acquisitions and disposals
- Drafting and negotiating share purchase and business asset purchase agreements
- Supporting private equity investments and management transactions
- Conducting legal due diligence and managing data-room reviews
- Assisting with disclosure exercises and preparing disclosure letters
- Drafting transaction documents and completion materials
- Supporting IPOs, equity fundraisings, and other public company matters
- Advising on corporate reorganisations, joint ventures, and shareholders’ agreements
- Assisting with business-development initiatives, pitches, and tenders

Newly qualified applicants are not expected to have undertaken every aspect of this work independently. The team is interested in lawyers who have acquired a sound grounding in corporate law and can demonstrate the aptitude and ambition to develop quickly.
A growing Leeds corporate practice
You will join the firm’s expanding Leeds corporate team while working as part of a substantial national practice.
The Leeds team is growing and offers an excellent environment in which to develop. Junior lawyers receive experienced support while being encouraged to take increasing responsibility for matters, build direct client relationships, and lead appropriate transaction workstreams.
The position offers a genuine opportunity to progress through the firm and acquire the technical, commercial, and relationship-building skills required to lead significant transactions.
