Corporate Solicitor Opportunity in Leeds
We are seeking a Corporate Solicitor to join a highly regarded Leeds team within a global law firm. You will work on a broad range of high value corporate transactions, with a strong focus on M&A and opportunities to gain international and cross border exposure.

The firm combines the resources and international reach of a major global practice with a collaborative and approachable culture, giving lawyers the opportunity to work with major organisations across a wide range of sectors.
Description
The Corporate Solicitor will be:
- Advising public and private companies on a broad range of corporate matters
- Working on mergers and acquisitions from initial instruction through to completion
- Advising on acquisitions, disposals and investments
- Supporting private equity transactions and strategic investments
- Advising on equity capital markets transactions where appropriate
- Working on corporate reorganisations and other strategic projects
- Managing transactions and coordinating input from internal teams and external advisers
- Building strong relationships with clients and developing an understanding of their commercial objectives
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the UK and international offices

Profile
The Corporate Solicitor should be:
- A solicitor with around 2 to 8 years PQE
- Experienced in a broad range of corporate transactions, particularly M&A
- Confident advising clients on complex and commercially important matters
- Comfortable managing transactions with appropriate levels of supervision
- Commercially minded with strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Able to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
- Keen to develop within an international law firm

Experienced in private equity or cross border transactions would be advantageous, but is not essential
Job Offer
- A salary ranging from £83,000 to £100,000
- 25 days of holiday leave.
