Our client is a mid-sized international law firm with full service practice. Their team has built a strong reputation in property, private client, TMT and Real Estate. They act on behalf of a wide range of clients including multi-national corporations, public companies, banks and financial institutions, private individuals, owner-managed businesses, and start-ups.
The Corporate team are looking for a Senior Associate (6+ PQE) to join the team in Guildford. The need has arisen due to increased deal flow to hire an additional corporate solicitor to join their Regional office.

This position offers a fantastic platform for career development as the successful candidate will enjoy high visibility (both within and outside the firm), a key role in business development and full partner support.
Responsibilities:
- Work within a balanced team on a full range of corporate transactions, in particular M&A, JV’s and venture capital transactions, and ongoing company law/corporate advice.
- Involved with drafting transaction documents and legal advice, transaction management and engaging with clients and third parties to help deliver on complex transactions.
- Get involved with the team’s business development activities.

The firm operates a hybrid agile working policy allowing employees to work from home (or another UK location) for up to 50% of their time.
Qualifications:
- Associate of Senior Associate Qualified Solicitor.
- A solid background as an Associate or Senior associate in private practice with a mid to larger law firm.
- Experience of supervising juniors and running transactions from start to finish.
- Previous BD experience is preferred.
