Corporate Solicitor – Senior Associate

Media Gaming and Gambling | London | 5+ PQE | £145,000–£175,000 + Excellent Benefits

A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Corporate M&A team in London. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a market-leading practice with a strong reputation across the media and gaming sector, advising on some of the most innovative and high-profile transactions in the market.

Overview

  • Title: Senior Associate
  • Location: London | Hybrid working
  • Salary: £145,000 - £175,000+ bonus
  • PQE: 5 PQE +
  • Reports to: Partner
  • Experience: Strong corporate M&A background. Previous experience of deals in the media, gaming and gambling sector would be ideal though is not crucial.

Overview of the work

You will advise on a broad range of corporate transactions, including:

  • Domestic and cross-border M&A
  • Private acquisitions and disposals
  • Growth equity investments
  • Strategic investments
  • Joint ventures
  • Venture capital transactions
  • Corporate restructurings and strategic projects

Candidate profile

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with 5+ years' PQE gained within a leading corporate practice. You will ideally possess:

  • Strong experience advising on M&A transactions
  • Excellent technical drafting and transactional skills
  • Experience managing complex deal processes
  • Strong commercial judgement and client-handling ability
  • A collaborative and proactive approach
  • An interest in developing sector expertise within TMT

Previous experience within the media, gaming, gambling or technology sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.

The firm is particularly interested in speaking with candidates who possess strong corporate credentials and are keen to build specialist expertise within these dynamic and rapidly evolving industries.
