Job Description
Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to support senior business development and client solutions colleagues in developing and managing corporate client relationships. The role also supports the preparation of structured solutions across CAB’s product suite and contributes to research on strategic alliances and partnerships that support long-term growth, profitability, and market presence.
Role Responsibilities
- Support senior colleagues with the client solutions origination, structuring and execution process, working closely with coverage bankers, product specialists and internal stakeholders.
- Build foundational knowledge of relevant products, including FX, payments, correspondent banking, trade and working capital finance, derivatives and other banking products, to support the preparation of structured solutions for corporate clients.
- Assist senior business development colleagues in identifying potential leads and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Support the execution of growth strategies by researching new markets, business opportunities, industry trends and competitor activity.
- Maintain and update sales pipeline trackers and support accurate, timely reporting of business development activity.
- Assist in preparing client-facing pitch materials, ensuring they are polished, accurate and aligned with client needs.
- Support client onboarding activities, coordinating with coverage bankers and product stakeholders as needed.
- Prepare draft reports on business development activities, performance metrics, market insights and emerging opportunities for review by senior team members.
- Liaise with Network Management, Marketing and Product teams to help align new solutions with market and client needs, escalating insights to senior colleagues where appropriate.
- Support senior colleagues’ representation of CAB at conferences and client forums, including preparation of logistics, materials, follow-up actions and adherence to relevant conduct and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Qualification
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, International Relations, Languages or a related discipline.
- Professional training or certifications in financial markets, banking, sales, relationship management or regulatory conduct would be advantageous but are not essential.

Experience
- Fluency/Business proficiency in French, Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable.
- Some practical work experience or early career exposure in financial services, banking, corporate sales, transaction banking, business development or client relationship support.
- Exposure to, or a demonstrable interest in, emerging markets and the regions in which CAB operates.
- Experience supporting research, analysis, reporting, pitch preparation, pipeline tracking, client onboarding or similar business development activities.
- For candidates with less direct sector experience, strong aptitude for sales, business development, relationship
