Ready to take your career global? Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Corporate Strategy Director for our Corporate Strategy- Integrated & Platforms team and help shape the future of global commerce.

We are growing our Corporate Strategy team and looking for exceptional talent across multiple levels. You'll join a diverse, international group of strategists who are passionate about payments and fintech. We are a team of naturally curious people who love exploring new ideas, challenging assumptions, and debating different viewpoints to arrive at the best outcomes. What you'll own

  • Own and lead strategic initiatives that unlock new growth opportunities and strengthen Global Payments’ competitive position in the payments and financial technology industry.
  • Own the development and execution of merchant propositions across key segments, creating differentiated solutions that deliver greater value for clients and accelerate business performance.
  • Lead and oversee high-profile, cross-functional projects with product/commercial implications, translating strategic ideas into measurable outcomes while ensuring successful execution and stakeholder alignment.
  • Play a leading role in shaping Global Payments’ M&A strategy by identifying opportunities that expand capabilities, enter new markets, and create long-term value.
  • Own strategic market assessments and identify emerging trends, client needs, and industry shifts, transforming insights into actionable strategies that position the business for future success.
  • Develop and deliver compelling recommendations and executive-level materials that influence decision-making and guide strategic priorities with senior leaders and the Board.
  • Lead and influence senior stakeholder relationships across business units, product, technology, finance, sales, and external partners to drive alignment, accelerate execution, and remove barriers to delivery.
  • Champion innovation by leading the evaluation of new products, partnerships, and business models, helping shape the future of payments and commerce.

What you'll bring

  • 6-10 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, private equity, or a strategy focused role within a financial institution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated track record of leading complex strategic initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and storytelling skills, including experience preparing materials for C-suite leaders and Boards of Directors.
  • Deep interest in payments, financial technology, software, commerce, and emerging technology trends, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build credibility across a complex organization.
  • A highly proactive, ownership-oriented leadership style, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop junior team members across both hard skills (e.g., strategic analysis, business model development) and soft skills (e.g., stakeholder management, executive communication)
