Meraki Talent is delighted to be leading an executive search on behalf of a globally recognised investment management firm for a newly approved Corporate Tax opportunity based in Edinburgh.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified Corporate Tax professional looking to make their first move in-house, or for someone already within industry seeking broader international exposure within a complex and fast-paced global organisation.

The Opportunity

This is a broad Group Tax role combining technical corporate tax with international tax, governance, tax accounting and strategic business projects.

You will support a global organisation operating across more than 20 jurisdictions with over 300 legal entities, working closely with both internal stakeholders and external advisers on a wide range of tax matters.

Alongside core corporate tax responsibilities, you'll gain exposure to international tax developments, acquisitions, tax governance, AI initiatives and process improvement projects, making this a genuinely varied and commercially focused opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate UK and international corporate tax compliance
  • Support Pillar 2 and Country-by-Country Reporting (CBCR) requirements
  • Coordinate Transfer Pricing compliance with external advisers
  • Assist with tax accounting and year-end tax reporting
  • Develop and maintain tax policies, procedures and governance frameworks
  • Drive process improvements and AI adoption within the tax function
  • Support acquisitions, new jurisdictions and wider international tax projects

  • ACA, CTA, ICAS or equivalent qualification
  • Strong UK Corporate Tax experience
  • Corporate tax compliance and reporting experience
  • Tax accounting and tax provision experience
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

Exposure to any of the following would be advantageous:

  • International Tax
  • Pillar 2
  • Country-by-Country Reporting (CBCR)
  • Transfer Pricing
  • Group Tax
  • Multinational or listed businesses
  • AI, technology or process improvement initiatives
