Our client is a highly respected independent accountancy and business advisory firm with a strong presence across Scotland and the North of England. Following continued growth within their national Tax Consultancy team, they are looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join their Glasgow office.

The firm supports a broad portfolio of privately owned businesses, entrepreneurial owner-managed companies and growing organisations across a wide range of sectors. Known for delivering high-quality advice and building long-term client relationships, they offer a collaborative and supportive environment where people are encouraged to develop their technical expertise and progress their careers.

Your new role

Joining an established corporate tax team, you will work closely with Managers, Directors and Partners to deliver a mixture of compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base.

  • Responsible for reviewing corporate tax computations and returns
  • Managing day-to-day client relationships
  • Supporting the delivery of tax planning assignments

What You'll Need To Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have experience working within corporate tax, gained through an accountancy practice environment. You will possess strong technical knowledge of corporate tax compliance and be comfortable building relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

  • CTA qualified or working towards qualification
  • Experience reviewing technical work and supporting more junior team members
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering excellent client service
  • Experience using AlphaTax would be advantageous but is not essential
