Purpose Of The Role
The role will be predominantly compliance, but you will have the ability to work on advisory projects and to move more into a mixed compliance/advisory role.
Duties Will Include
- Manage a portfolio of clients, including interaction with clients and colleagues to ensure all deadlines (client & statutory) are met
- Management of junior member of the team
- Review of work undertaken by junior colleagues
- Active role in personal development and mentoring of junior team members
- Delivering all aspects of corporation tax compliance support to clients
- Review of computations prepared by the Accounting & Business Services team
- Responding to ad hoc queries from internal and external clients
- Full portfolio management, to include billing, work in progress and management of your own workflow to meet deadlines
- Completing technical research for discussion and presentation to colleagues and clients
- Liaising with HMRC in relation to client liabilities and responding to HMRC enquiries
- Providing support to Partners and Managers for client meetings
- Direct involvement in corporate tax planning work

Working arrangements
The working week: with flexibility of hours to meet specific demands – we offer a hybrid model of three days in the office and two days homeworking
Skills/Qualifications
Person specifications – Desirable experience and skills
- CTA qualified essential
- 3 years + post qualification experience
- Understanding of accounts
- Strong IT skills and knowledge
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
