The role

As part of our continued growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Director to join our Corporate Tax team. This senior role will focus on delivering a broad mix of corporate tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base, helping clients navigate both their ongoing compliance obligations and wider strategic tax matters.

The successful candidate will work with businesses operating across a variety of ownership structures, including entrepreneurial and owner-managed businesses, private family capital, private equity-backed groups, listed companies and large international groups. The role will involve managing key client relationships, leading complex engagements and contributing to the continued development of our wider Corporate Tax offering.

The Responsibilities

Frequently dealing with both technical advisory matters and the delivery of complex compliance engagements, the candidate can expect the role to encompass the following areas amongst others:

  • Lead and collaborate with a diverse range of clients, including startups, growing entrepreneurial businesses, private family capital, private equity-backed groups, listed businesses and large international groups;
  • Oversee the delivery of corporation tax compliance services (including complex compliance and provisioning), ensuring work is completed to a high standard, on time and within budget;
  • Advise on corporate reorganisations, business acquisitions and disposals, financing arrangements, international tax matters and other strategic projects, such as HMRC enquiries, disclosures, clearance applications and wider tax risk matters where required;
  • Support clients with tax governance, tax risk management and tax control framework projects where opportunities arise;
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and contribute to commercial, strategic and business development initiatives that support the growth and market profile of the Corporate Tax team; and
  • Work with our partners to develop and execute our go-to-market strategy for Corporate Tax as well as provide pastoral support, whilst supporting the development and engagement of a wider Corporate Tax team of approximately 40 professionals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
