Corporate Tax Manager (Contract) | Global Trading Firm | London | £500/day Umbrella
We are currently supporting a leading global trading firm in the search for a Corporate Tax Manager to join their international tax function on a 12–18-month contract.
This is a broad and commercially focused position, offering the opportunity to take ownership of international tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions, while also contributing to wider tax projects and initiatives.
You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of overseas tax activities, partnering with external advisers and internal finance teams to ensure obligations are delivered accurately and on time.

- Overseeing corporate tax and VAT/GST compliance across non-US jurisdictions.
- Coordinating with external tax advisers and reviewing their work to ensure deadlines and regulatory requirements are met.
- Supporting tax accounting and provisioning, including ASC 740 calculations, reconciliations and related adjustments.
- Advising on tax matters arising from statutory accounts and supporting the audit process.
- Managing correspondence and enquiries from tax authorities where required.
- Reviewing existing processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, controls and governance.
- Contributing to international tax projects covering areas such as CFC, transfer pricing, tax planning and business restructurings.
- Providing guidance and support to more junior members of the tax function.

Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification or tax qualification (CTA, ATT).
- Immediately available to start employment or on a short notice period (max 2 weeks).
- Relevant experience within the financial services sector.
- Strong experience within corporate tax, with international exposure.
- Experience overseeing tax compliance across multiple territories.
- Knowledge of tax accounting / ASC 740.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders, advisers and auditors.
