Corporate Tax Manager (In-House)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a tax professional to join a large professional services group in a wholly in-house corporate tax position. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the organisation's corporate tax affairs across multiple UK and international entities, partnering with senior stakeholders across the business while supporting a broad range of tax compliance, reporting and advisory activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review CT computations and returns across a group of companies, ensuring accurate and timely submission to HMRC.
- Monitor accounting records and financial reporting data to identify tax adjustments, disallowable expenditure and other corporation tax implications.
- Prepare and review capital allowance calculations and support tax reporting requirements.
- Review and reconcile tax-related balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Provide guidance on international tax matters, including withholding tax considerations, double tax treaty applications and certificates of residence.
- Support internal stakeholders with overseas tax queries to minimise tax leakage and ensure appropriate tax treatment.
- Maintain and oversee transfer pricing policies, providing advice on intercompany transactions across the group.
- Provide practical corporation tax advice to finance teams and senior leadership on business activities, projects, acquisitions and organisational changes.

About You
- Professionally qualified tax specialist (ATT, CTA or equivalent).
- Strong corporate tax knowledge gained in practice, industry, or a combination of both.
- Looking to move into, or further develop within, an in-house tax environment where you'll focus on the tax affairs of a single organisation rather than external clients.
