The Role
As Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a varied portfolio of corporate tax services, combining both advisory and compliance work across a diverse client base. You will manage complex tax matters, build strong client relationships, and play a key role in developing junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax compliance work including corporation tax returns, computations, and tax provisions
- Providing proactive tax advisory services on matters such as group reorganisations, tax planning, M&A transactions, and tax-efficient structures
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on corporate tax matters
- Identifying opportunities for value-added tax planning and business development
- Reviewing and supervising the work of junior team members, providing technical guidance and mentoring
- Liaising with HMRC on enquiries and technical matters
- Keeping abreast of legislative changes and communicating relevant updates to clients and the team
- Contributing to the development of the tax practice and supporting business growth initiatives
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax, including compliance and advisory
- Proven experience in managing corporate tax matters for a diverse client portfolio
- Excellent client management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
- Experience mentoring and developing junior staff
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills

- Experience in areas such as R&D tax credits, capital allowances, transfer pricing, or international tax
- Exposure to M&A tax or corporate transactions
- Experience working within a top or mid-tier accountancy practice
