Corporate Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, taking responsibility for the delivery of high-quality Corporate Tax Returns and computations and ensuring all statutory filing deadlines are met.
- Advise clients on their corporate tax liabilities, payment obligations and relevant filing deadlines, providing clear and commercially focused advice.
- Ensure all relevant claims, elections and other tax compliance requirements are identified and submitted within the appropriate statutory time limits.
- Identify opportunities to mitigate clients’ tax liabilities and provide proactive tax planning advice, working closely with Partners and Directors to develop and implement appropriate solutions.
- Review Corporate Tax Returns and computations prepared by junior members of the team, providing guidance and feedback to ensure a high standard of work.
- Manage and develop client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for clients and ensuring a high level of service is maintained.
- Manage WIP across the client portfolio, ensuring work is completed efficiently and fees are raised and issued promptly on completion.
- Monitor recoverability and profitability across the portfolio, ensuring effective time management and that work is appropriately planned, resourced and charged.
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their tax affairs, identify their requirements and contribute to the development of new business opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business to provide clients with a comprehensive range of tax and advisory services.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Be qualified to CTA or similar level
- You must be self-motivated and driven with a positive work ethic
- Be able to build strong relationships both externally and across the Dains Group.
