Our client is an established UK professional services firm providing tax, audit, accountancy and advisory services to a diverse range of clients. The Tax team works across a variety of sectors, supporting businesses with both complex compliance requirements and commercially focused advisory work.

The Role

  • Manage a portfolio of Corporate Tax clients, taking responsibility for service delivery, deadlines and quality.
  • Act as a key day-to-day client contact, developing strong and lasting relationships.
  • Review and approve corporation tax computations, returns, tax provisions and supporting schedules.
  • Identify tax risks, planning opportunities and potential advisory opportunities.
  • Support advisory and transactional assignments, including restructurings, acquisitions, disposals and tax due diligence.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports and client-facing advice, working alongside senior members of the team.
  • Take responsibility for WIP, billing, recoveries and budgets across your portfolio.
  • Coach and develop junior team members, with the opportunity to take on direct reports.

Your Experience

  • Proven Corporate Tax experience gained within a professional practice environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge across SME and larger corporate tax matters.
  • Experience managing a client portfolio, including deadlines, budgets, recoveries and client relationships.
  • Exposure to tax advisory work, ideally including written reports, due diligence or transaction-related assignments.
  • ACA, CA, CTA or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with Alphatax is preferred, with CCH, strong Excel skills and an interest in tax technology also advantageous.
