Corporate Tax Manager (Capital Allowances)
Location: Flexible UK Location | Hybrid Working
TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading professional services firm seeking an experienced Capital Allowances Manager to join its growing specialist tax team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a capital allowances professional with a background in quantity surveying, building surveying, cost consultancy or property tax. You will work with a varied client base including corporate groups, property investors, owner managed businesses, charities and not for profit organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of capital allowances projects across multiple sectors.
- Conduct site inspections to identify qualifying assets and tax relief opportunities.
- Analyse construction, refurbishment and acquisition costs.
- Prepare and review capital allowances claims and technical reports.
- Advise clients on property tax reliefs, including Capital Allowances and Land Remediation Relief.
- Support HMRC enquiries and technical discussions.
- Identify opportunities for additional services within existing client relationships.
- Support junior team members and contribute to business development activities.

Requirements
- Corporate Tax Manager (Capital Allowances)
- Experience within Capital Allowances, Property Tax or a related specialist field.
- Background in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Cost Consultancy or Construction Management.
- Strong understanding of construction costs and property expenditure.
- Excellent analytical, report writing and client communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Desirable
- Knowledge of UK Capital Allowances legislation and HMRC guidance.
- RICS, ATT or CTA qualification.
- Experience working with accountants, tax advisers, developers or property investors.
