A well-established and growing independent advisory firm based in Liverpool is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join its expanding tax team. Your new role

As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will take ownership of a varied client portfolio, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. The role offers a balanced mix of compliance and advisory work, providing exposure to complex tax matters and the opportunity to support clients on strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients across a range of sectors
  • Overseeing the preparation and review of corporate tax compliance work
  • Supporting on advisory projects including restructuring, transactions, and tax planning
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Assisting with the development and mentoring of junior team members
  • Contributing to business development initiatives and identifying opportunities for growth

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in corporate tax within practice
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality work
  • Experience or interest in advisory work alongside compliance
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive and commercial mindset
