Role Overview
I am currently working with a highly respected independent accountancy firm that is investing in long-term succession planning within its corporate tax function. They are looking for an ambitious Corporate Tax Manager looking for more than just a compliance position, someone who wants to influence, take ownership of large transactions and advisory projects and a clear route to senior leadership.
This is a newly created position to work and learn directly with the corporate tax partner, share responsibility for complex advisory work, build a strong relationship with an established client base and show how the corporate tax services are delivered. You won't be maintaining a function, you will be helping to shape and grow it.
The Role
- You will be working closely with the partner on high-value advisory projects and transaction work including:
- Group restructures and reorganisations
- International tax matters
- Acquisitions and disposals
- Group tax relief, capital allowances
- Strategic planning for growing corporations
- Additionally, you will:
- Act as a trusted advisor to existing clients
- Develop your own advisory portfolio
- Enhance audit/tax collaboration
- Support in upskilling and coaching team members as the team expands

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience within corporate tax
- ATT or CTA qualified
- Experience with corporate tax advisory and complex compliance work
- Confident with group structures, transactions and international tax
- Comfortable building client relationships
- Able to communicate complex tax issues clearly
