Your new company
An established and growing accountancy practice is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior to join its expanding tax team. Working alongside experienced tax specialists and accountants, you will support a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, UK subsidiaries of international groups, charities, and other organisations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant with a strong grounding in accounting who is looking to further develop their corporate tax expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment. You will enjoy direct client contact, exposure to a wide range of technical matters, and genuine opportunities for progression.
Your new role
As a Corporate Tax Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate tax compliance services while gaining valuable exposure to advisory and transactional work. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns for a varied client portfolio
- Completing tax adjustments and statutory accounts disclosures
- Assisting with group tax reporting requirements

You will manage your own workflow to ensure compliance deadlines and client expectations are consistently met.
Alongside compliance responsibilities, you will support senior colleagues with a variety of advisory projects, employer tax matters, and transactional assignments. You will undertake technical research, prepare draft calculations and advice notes, and assist in coordinating UK tax requirements for companies operating within larger international groups.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be:
- AAT qualified, ACA or ACCA part-qualified, or possess equivalent practical experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
- A strong accounting background and a solid understanding of UK corporation tax compliance processes
Applicants with experience preparing corporation tax computations and supporting statutory accounts tax provisioning and disclosure requirements are essential. Exposure to owner-managed businesses and UK subsidiaries of larger groups would be advantageous.
