About the Job

As a Senior Manager within the Corporate Tax team, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio, supporting advisory work and contributing to the wider management of the team. The role will involve...

  • Manage a portfolio of key corporate clients, overseeing compliance delivery and building strong client relationships.
  • Support senior tax professionals with a range of Corporate Tax advisory assignments and complex technical matters.
  • Identify opportunities for additional work and contribute to revenue, profitability and business development targets.
  • Assist with workflow planning and the effective running of the Corporate Tax team.
  • Manage, coach and develop team members through regular feedback, appraisals and technical support.
  • Review work to ensure high technical and quality standards are maintained.
  • Undertake technical research and stay up to date with UK tax legislation, HMRC guidance and relevant case law.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to deliver a joined-up service to clients.

Previous experience

  • CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualified with relevant practice experience.
  • Strong Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax experience, ideally at Manager or Senior Manager level.
  • Proven experience managing corporate clients across both compliance and advisory work.
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to research and resolve complex tax matters.
  • Experience managing, coaching and developing junior team members.
  • Strong client-facing, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially minded with an understanding of business development and identifying opportunities.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and competing deadlines.
  • Ambitious and motivated to progress within a growing professional practice.
