Rutherford Briant Recruitment for Senior Corporate Tax Manager
Rutherford Briant are recruiting a Senior Corporate Tax Manager for a leading accounting and advisory firm in Guildford.
This is a genuinely influential position for an ambitious tax professional who wants more than another portfolio-management role. You will lead important client relationships, shape complex tax engagements and play a visible part in the growth of the regional practice.
The Opportunity
Working closely with Partners and Directors, you will take ownership of high-value corporate tax relationships and lead assignments spanning complex compliance, planning and advisory work.
- You will have the autonomy to shape how clients are supported, bring together expertise from across the wider firm and turn technical developments into commercially valuable advice.
- Alongside the client work, you will help set the direction of the team, develop future Managers and contribute to new business growth.
- There is considerable scope to strengthen your external profile and professional network.

The Person
- You will be an established Senior Manager or an experienced Manager ready for a larger leadership position.
- You will combine strong corporate tax knowledge with the commercial judgement and presence to advise senior stakeholders, develop client relationships and lead talented tax professionals.
- CTA, ACA, ACCA or CA qualification would be expected, although comparable experience will also be considered.
