Your new role
As Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you will work closely with the Tax Partners and Directors, taking responsibility for leading the corporation tax compliance function within the Liverpool office. You will play a key role in ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to clients while supporting the development of junior team members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the corporate tax compliance process for a varied client portfolio
- Overseeing the preparation and review of corporation tax computations and returns
- Reviewing tax accounting disclosures and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, dealing with tax queries, enquiries and technical matters
- Identifying tax advisory opportunities arising from compliance work
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members, including performance development and study progression
- Working closely with corporate tax advisory, personal tax and wider advisory teams to provide a comprehensive client service
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering technical excellence and commercial value

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification
- Post-qualified experience within a corporate tax role in practice
- Strong technical corporate tax knowledge
- Experience reviewing corporation tax computations and tax accounting work
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage with clients at all levels
- Strong report-writing and written communication abilities
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A proactive and commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to add value to clients
- A genuine passion for tax and a desire to continue developing your technical expertise
