A leading UK professional services firm is looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join its expanding tax team. With a strong reputation in the SME and mid-market space, the firm advises a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, large corporates, and growing entrepreneurial organisations across the South of England.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative and commercially focused environment where tax professionals are encouraged to build lasting client relationships, develop specialist expertise, and play a key role in the firm's continued growth. Flexible office locations are available across the region, alongside hybrid working arrangements.

Your new role

As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of corporate clients, leading both compliance and advisory projects whilst acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing complex corporation tax compliance matters for large and mid-sized businesses
  • Providing strategic tax planning and advisory support to clients
  • Building and developing long-term client relationships
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing corporate tax professionals
  • Identifying opportunities to broaden existing client relationships and win new work
  • Supporting business development initiatives and representing the firm within the local business community
  • Ensuring technical excellence and high-quality client service delivery across engagements
  • Keeping ahead of legislative developments and advising clients on emerging tax issues

What you'll need to succeed

  • CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
  • Significant corporate tax experience gained within UK accountancy practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax compliance and advisory work
  • Experience managing complex client portfolios and senior stakeholder relationships
  • Previous people management, coaching, or mentoring experience
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in business development
  • The confidence to operate as a senior leader within a growing tax team
