About the Role
As a Senior Manager, you will take ownership of delivering tax services to clients, developing the team around you, and expanding our services as client needs evolve.
Within this role, you will:
- Apply expertise across compliance and advisory services
- Actively participate and contribute to our marketing initiatives
- Benefit from learning from established tax Partners and Directors with broad sector experience

Team Management
- Oversee a team of qualified and part-qualified tax professionals
- Manage performance at all levels

Client & Stakeholder Relations
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, potential clients, and leaders across practice areas and office locations

Service Delivery
- Lead the delivery of high-quality, proactive client engagements aligned with best practice procedures, internal controls, and review processes
- Monitor progress, manage risk, and communicate progress/variances on budgets and timelines to key stakeholders

Team Environment
- Fostering an innovative and inclusive team-orientated culture
- Mentoring and coaching junior team members

Technical Expertise
- Act as a technical expert, demonstrating strong knowledge of tax principles and standards

Business Development & Growth
- Support the growth of the Tax practice through new business targets, fee billing, and cash collection
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in processes and procedures
- Contribute to strategic and technological projects within the Tax practice
Requirements
Skills & Experience
To excel in this role, you should have:

- Significant corporate tax experience within the profession and/or industry
- Technical tax advisory capabilities, including knowledge of current legislation and skills for complex client work
- Experience in mentoring people and clients
- Ability to develop business development skills for business growth
Professional Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA)
- Tax advisor (CTA preferred)
