Corporate Tax Senior Manager

Essential Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in UK corporate tax, gained within a professional services environment.
- Strong technical knowledge across corporate tax compliance and advisory matters, including advising owner-managed businesses and complex corporate groups.
- Proven ability to review, challenge and quality-assure complex corporate tax computations, returns and advisory outputs.
- Experience acting as a trusted adviser to clients, leading technical discussions and responding to complex queries.
- Strong commercial awareness, with an understanding of how corporate tax advice supports wider business objectives.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Experience coaching, mentoring and developing Managers, Seniors and junior team members.
- CTA, ACA and/or equivalent professional qualification.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Take responsibility for managing and developing a portfolio of corporate tax clients.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships based on trust and technical expertise.
- Work closely with Directors and Partners on complex technical matters and high-value client engagements.
Compliance & Advisory
- Lead the delivery and review of high-quality corporate tax compliance work, ensuring accuracy, consistency and adherence to legislation.
- Provide senior technical input across advisory projects, including structuring, transactions and complex planning matters.
- Oversee and review work prepared by Managers and Seniors, providing clear feedback and guidance.
- Remain up to date with changes in corporate tax legislation and ensure knowledge is shared across the team.

Business Development & Planning
- Support Partners and Directors with business development activity, proposals and client opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to add value for clients and contribute to the growth of the Corporate Tax service line.
- Lead internal knowledge-sharing, training and process improvement initiatives.
- Play an active role in developing team capability and supporting succession planning.
Our Corporate Tax team supports a broad range of clients, from entrepreneurial businesses and owner-managed groups through to complex UK and international corporate structures. We advise across the full corporate tax lifecycle, combining high-quality compliance with pragmatic, commercially-focused advisory support.
Joining the team as a Senior Manager means working closely with clients and senior stakeholders to provide trusted advice on complex corporate tax matters, overseeing the delivery of high-quality work and helping to shape long-term client relationships. You will play a key role in leading engagements, developing people and contributing to the continued growth of the Corporate Tax service line.
