About The Role
A Corporate Tax Solicitor is sought by an international law firm in Birmingham on a full-time basis, offering a competitive salary. The successful candidate will join a well-regarded practice, advising UK and international clients on matters including mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, corporate structuring and group restructuring, plus tax elements of transactions. Working alongside experienced partners, the solicitor gains exposure to sophisticated, varied work. The successful Corporate Tax Associate will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of corporate tax matters, including M&A, reorganisations, corporate structuring, group reorganisations and tax aspects of corporate transactions.
You will work closely with colleagues across the wider corporate and commercial teams, providing commercially focused tax advice and playing an important role on significant and complex transactions.
The Candidate
The firm is looking for a Corporate Tax Solicitor with solid experience gained within a reputable private practice environment.
You Will Ideally Have
- Experience in corporate tax, including transactional tax work.
- Experience advising on M&A, reorganisations and corporate structuring.
- Strong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to provide clear and commercially focused advice.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- A genuine interest in developing your career within a leading international practice.
- The confidence to work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple practice areas.
