The London Academy Business School (LABS), based in Stratford in the London area, offers a wide range of education programs, professional training, and certification courses designed for real-world application. LABS is an accredited centre for Pearson and OTHM Qualifications, delivering programs from A Level to postgraduate diplomas, and partners with UK universities for BSc, MBA, and MSc degrees. The school is also accredited by professional and vocational bodies, including ACCA, and is approved by the Lagos State Government to deliver qualifications in fields such as Accounting and Finance, Computing, Business Management, Law, and Hospitality. LABS focuses on developing practical skills, teamwork, leadership, and career readiness to help learners achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. It operates as a transnational education partner of the University of Sunderland in Nigeria, reflecting its commitment to global, practice-focused learning.

Role Description

The Corporate Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This person will design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for corporate clients and professional learners, aligning content with business school standards and client objectives. Day-to-day tasks include developing training curricula and materials, facilitating interactive classroom and workshop sessions, and adapting teaching methods to diverse learning styles. The Corporate Trainer will assess participant performance, provide constructive feedback, and prepare reports on training effectiveness and outcomes. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with academic and administrative teams, staying current with industry trends and qualification frameworks, and contributing to continuous improvement of LABS training offerings.

  • Strong instructional design and facilitation skills, including experience planning training programs, creating learning materials, and delivering engaging in-person sessions.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess learning needs, evaluate participant performance, and use feedback and data to improve training content and methods.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Solid understanding of business, management, or professional education environments; familiarity with vocational and professional qualifications (e.g., Pearson, OTHM, ACCA) is an advantage.
  • Proven organisational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple courses or client engagements and meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Human Resources, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant professional certification in training or learning and development is beneficial.
  • Experience as a corporate trainer, lecturer, or learning and development specialist, ideally within higher education, professional training, or corporate settings.
  • Comfort working in a multicultural environment and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching and learning practices.
