Corporate Trainer
CNG | Birmingham | On-site | Immediate start available
Helping someone understand a task, build confidence and improve their performance takes patience, clear communication and leadership. If you enjoy bringing out the best in people, CNG offers the opportunity to develop those skills while learning the commercial side of a growing business.
We’re expanding into new UK markets and looking for someone who can grow into supporting the people behind that expansion. As a Corporate Trainer, you’ll build practical experience in customer engagement, sales and campaign delivery before using that knowledge to help colleagues learn and perform.
This is a development role combining face-to-face campaign work with increasing training and leadership responsibility. Previous corporate training experience is welcome but isn’t essential.
Learn the work, then help others succeed
You’ll start alongside experienced colleagues, understanding campaign standards, customer conversations and the processes you’ll eventually help others learn.
As you demonstrate readiness, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting live campaigns to develop product knowledge and commercial awareness.
- Helping new starters understand approved messages, processes and daily expectations.
- Delivering short briefings and practical demonstrations under guidance.
- Observing customer interactions and giving specific, constructive feedback.
- Helping colleagues set achievable development goals and follow up on progress.
- Maintaining training records and sharing learning needs with managers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
