Operating under Global Travel Collection, we manage around £6m in annual bookings for 180 corporate clients across aviation, energy and the creative industries, with the London to New York corridor at the heart of our business. The role
We are creating a new position at the centre of that growth. The Training and Operations Lead will build our training function from the ground up, run our transactional desk, and own the standard of work across the business.
This is a hands-on role for a genuine expert. You will develop our next generation of consultants by working live files alongside them every day, and you will define, document and enforce the brand standards that make an echo.bravo booking recognisably ours. When senior colleagues are on leave, you provide the operational depth that keeps service seamless. Your success is measured in the capability of the people you develop.

Responsibilities
- Run the transactional desk day to day, delivering live corporate bookings alongside our apprentices.
- Design and build the echo.bravo training programme. Fare knowledge, booking discipline and house standards, documented to a professional standard.
- Define and enforce brand standards across all client facing work, so every booking, quote and communication meets the same benchmark.
- Own the competency framework. Set what each consultant must demonstrate before working unsupervised, and sign them off when they reach it.
- Provide quality control on all junior ticketing.
- Oversee the desk's highest volume corporate accounts.
- Provide senior operational cover during leave and absence.
- Scale the training function as the team grows.
The right candidate
- Current Travelport expertise. Galileo and Smartpoint at an advanced level, assessed practically during the process.
- Deep fares knowledge. Construction, ticketing and exchanges to a standard that protects revenue.
- Corporate TMC experience at senior consultant level or above.
- A track record of developing people. A formal training role, academy experience, or a reputation as the consultant others were sent to learn from.

The package
- £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.

The process
An initial conversation with our Commercial Director, followed by a practical session in Smartpoint working with our team, and a final conversation with our founder.
