Job Opportunity: Costing and Experience of Bills of Materials
Costing and experience of bills of materials essential for this manufacturing group based in the Brough area of East Yorkshire. Come and join this friendly team in a privately owned business with high ethical values.
Ideal Candidate
Ideally you will be a CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant with a manufacturing background and specifically have experience of standard costing processes, bills of materials and variance analysis.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will also be able to:
- Analyse and calculate materials, labour and overhead costs across multiple sites
- Monitor production efficiency, waste levels and yield performance
- Include inventory and compliance duties, budgeting and forecasting

Skills and Experience
The role will ideally suit an accountant with broad-based skills and strengths in manufacturing, factory accounting and costing. You will also probably have a love of the manufacturing process, seeing a product from inception right through the production line to the finished article.
- Previous experience of ERP systems
- A high degree of systems use generally
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Ability to extract information and meet deadlines
Location
Our client is based in the Brough area of East Yorkshire close to the western end of the A63 and the eastern M62, commutable from Beverley, Hull and most of the East Yorkshire villages including Market Weighton.
