Cost & Productivity Senior Manager

Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT)

Location: London / Hybrid Working
Salary: 85,000 – 120,000 + Benefits Package

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join a growing Cost & Productivity team focused on helping Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) organisations improve performance, optimise costs and deliver sustainable transformation.

This role offers the opportunity to work with high-profile software, media and technology clients facing margin pressures, changing customer demands, significant technology investment decisions and the challenge of scaling efficiently. As a senior leader within the team, you will lead complex engagements, shape strategic recommendations and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading multiple cost optimisation and productivity improvement programmes simultaneously.
  • Driving operational improvement initiatives across software, media and wider TMT businesses.
  • Developing and implementing cost control programmes across cloud, software licensing, technology operations, marketing, content production and corporate functions.
  • Leading financial analysis, business case development, forecasting and scenario modelling activities.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve performance across COGS, SG&A and R&D through benchmarking, spend analysis and value optimisation.
  • Managing complex stakeholder relationships across finance, procurement, technology, product, commercial and operational functions.
  • Overseeing project delivery, risk management, budgets and governance requirements.
  • Coaching and developing junior team members while fostering a high-performance team culture.
  • Supporting business development, proposal generation and client relationship management activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience delivering cost optimisation, productivity improvement, operational transformation or financial turnaround programmes.
  • Strong understanding of cost transformation methodologies and business change delivery.
  • Experience identifying and delivering cost reductions across operational and corporate functions.
  • Excellent analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
  • Proven ability to build credibility and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership experience, including managing multiple workstreams and developing junior professionals.
  • Commercial acumen and experience supporting business development initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience within Technology, Media, Telecommunications, Software, SaaS or Digital sectors is highly desirable.
