Cost Manager
We're looking for a Cost Manager for a public sector organisation, based in Nottinghamshire (hybrid), on an initial contract running until the end of January 2027, paying up to £348 per day (Inside IR35, Umbrella).
This is a hybrid role with an expectation to attend the office at least two days a week.
About the Role
The successful Cost Manager will lead cost estimation and financial planning across complex construction projects within an environment programme delivery office. You'll support programme and project managers to keep spend within tolerance, monitor budgets and forecasts, and resolve cost issues quickly. You'll also work closely with procurement colleagues, contractors and risk managers to deliver cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities
- Lead cost estimation and financial planning across complex construction projects

Requirements
- Proven experience working with:
- Cost estimation and budget control
- Financial planning, forecasting and reporting
- Quantity surveying and Bills of Quantities (BoQ)
- Risk assessment, mitigation and value management
- Procurement and contract management
- Experience across construction or infrastructure projects would be beneficial
