About The Role

We are seeking a Chartered Cost Manager who is excited by the opportunity to relocate to San Francisco for one of the world’s leading technology organisations.

In this role, you will lead the financial governance and cost optimisation of complex, large-scale capital programmes for one of the world’s leading technology organisations, spanning data centres, cutting-edge office campuses, R&D facilities, and critical infrastructure environments.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, driving robust cost control, commercial transparency, and strategic financial insight across the full project lifecycle—within a fast-paced, innovative, and high-growth tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Cost Leadership

  • Own and manage all aspects of cost management across multiple concurrent, high-value projects from business case through to delivery and close-out.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain detailed cost plans, benchmarks, and forecasts aligned to evolving project requirements.

Strategic Budgeting & Financial Planning

  • Partner with client stakeholders (Real Estate, Construction, Finance, Procurement) to define budgets, investment strategies, and cost models.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations on contingencies, risk allowances, and value engineering opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
