Cost Optimization Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Cost Optimization Manager based in United Kingdom.
This role offers the opportunity to drive operational efficiency and financial optimization within a global, remote-first environment.
You will be responsible for analyzing performance data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies that improve business outcomes.
The position combines analytical thinking, partner management, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize processes and maximize value.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to improve tools, workflows, and operational performance.

Accountabilities:
The Cost Optimization Manager will own analytical and operational initiatives focused on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing partner performance. The role requires strong ownership, strategic thinking, and collaboration across multiple teams.
- Independently manage operational and analytical activities from defining objectives through execution, monitoring, and measuring results.
- Analyze reports, statistics, and partner performance indicators to identify cost optimization opportunities and improvement areas.
- Develop and implement cost optimization strategies in collaboration with internal teams and business stakeholders.
- Manage and support partner-related activities through CRM systems, including handling complex and non-standard requests.
- Improve partner management processes, tools, reporting structures, documentation, and internal guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared efficiency and optimization goals.
- Identify process gaps and recommend practical solutions to improve operational performance.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate combines analytical expertise, business understanding, and strong communication skills to identify opportunities and execute optimization strategies effectively.
- Professional experience in cost optimization, operations management, business analysis, partner management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, reports, and performance metrics.
- Experience developing and implementing process improvement or efficiency initiatives.
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Excel, and general computer tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities in a remote and international environment.
- Ability to find practical and professional solutions across different business scenarios.
Language proficiency:
- English: B2+ level.
- Russian: C1+ level.
- Chinese: B2+ level.
