The Costing/Estimating Manager

The Costing/Estimating Manager will lead our finance team in Coventry, reporting directly to the Financial Director.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the process of new RFQ with other teams Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering and Finance to obtain the right Financials level requested by Division on time and accurate.
  • Manage Cost analysis teams to be obtain all activities request by system, evolution of costs and price during the developments of product.
  • Cost analysis support for new request and modification tooling and variable cost (was-is).
  • Cost analysis support and manage with other Intercompany division (Foam, Trim covers, Headrests, Wire harness and Metal parts) process of make or buy.
  • Providing MGR update on risks & opportunities for all development products.
  • Interacting with Engineering, Sales, Program Management Teams, Purchasing and Cost Analysis.
  • Contributing to Lear financial strategy and decision-making processes.

To Be Successful For This Role

  • University Graduate with bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of working experience in financial controlling field.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Finance qualifications required.
  • Nice to have experience in working in Automotive or Production facilities.
  • Leadership skills with proven experience in managing successful teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
  • Ability to work closely and build partnership with other departments and functions including senior level management.
  • High level of reliability and working ethics.
  • Ability to work under the time pressure and deadlines.
  • Computer literacy with advanced MS Excel skills.
