Background
Cordus Law is a specialist legal practice, assisting veterans and active-duty service members secure compensation for injuries suffered during service. We are seeking a Costs / Accounts Administrator to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the Costs / Accounts department, assisting colleagues with case-related and departmental tasks
- Inputting, maintaining and analysing data across internal systems, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date
- Preparing and drafting documents where required under appropriate supervision
- Supporting departmental processes and following internal procedures to maintain accurate information and records
- Assisting with the effective operation of the department through general administrative duties
- Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with the SRA Standards and Regulations, company policies and procedures
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business while delivering a professional and efficient service
- Supporting continuous improvement by contributing ideas, attending training and maintaining high professional standards

Person Specification
- GCSEs (or equivalent)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
- Professional, reliable and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible, as working outside normal office hours may occasionally be required
