What our Team says
“This is the most supportive workplace I have worked at. There is always someone you can talk to, you never feel alone.” – Litigation Executive – Costs Department.
“I’ve worked in costs for 20 years and I’ve never worked at a firm where the company policies make you feel as valued as a person. The compassionate leave I received when my grandparents passed away was generous and really allowed myself to grieve and return to work fully focused.
The costs department is a really good mix of people. There is smart knowledge and leadership in place and even though most people work remotely, there is still a sense of togetherness as a unit.”- Associate Team Leader – Costs Department.
What you’ll be doing?
Role Purpose
As a Costs Litigation Executive, you will manage a caseload of fixed recoverable costs and lower-value costs disputes, taking responsibility for the matter from initial review through negotiation and, where required, proceedings. The role is intended to provide genuine case ownership and a clear route to developing specialist expertise in costs litigation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
