We're seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Working alongside Occupational Therapists and an interdisciplinary care team, you'll provide meaningful therapy interventions that support resident goals and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to provide individualized therapy services that support resident goals and promote functional independence.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide occupational therapy treatments according to established plans of care
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing effective treatment programs
- Deliver individualized and group therapy interventions based on resident needs and goals
- Monitor resident progress and communicate outcomes with the Occupational Therapist and care team
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to promote independence after discharge
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming therapy environment
- Support quality improvement initiatives and department goals
- Participate in continuing education to maintain clinical competency

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for helping residents achieve meaningful functional goals
- Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
