Fine Move Ltd is an established Temporary Accommodation provider supplying good-quality, compliant homes to families across London.
We are looking for an experienced and well-connected Temporary Accommodation professional to develop and strengthen Fine Move's relationships with London Boroughs, secure new council business and increase property placements.
This is a 3–6 month temp-to-perm opportunity, with a permanent position subject to performance and achievement of agreed targets.
The Role
Your primary focus will be to open doors and build relationships with London Borough Temporary Accommodation teams, convert those relationships into active provider agreements and secure placements for Fine Move's available properties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building relationships with Temporary Accommodation teams, Housing Needs departments, procurement officers and relevant council decision-makers
- Using existing council contacts and developing new relationships across London Boroughs
- Introducing Fine Move and our property supply to new councils
- Identifying the correct contacts, procurement routes and frameworks within each borough
- Completing provider onboarding, procurement applications and council registration processes
- Identifying tenders, frameworks and new Temporary Accommodation opportunities
- Negotiating nightly rates, leasing arrangements and commercial terms
- Responding to council property requirements and submitting suitable available properties
- Following property submissions through to allocation and confirmed booking
- Maintaining regular contact with councils to understand current and upcoming demand
- Helping reduce property voids by matching Fine Move's available stock with council requirements
- Reporting on council contacts, onboarding progress, opportunities, bookings and performance against targets

What We're Looking For
This role requires someone who already understands the London Temporary Accommodation market and can demonstrate relevant council experience.
You should have:
- Previous experience within Temporary Accommodation, local authority housing procurement or council housing
- A strong network of existing contacts within London Borough Temporary Accommodation/Housing teams
- Experience dealing directly with council decision-makers and procurement teams
- A clear understanding of how London Boroughs procure and place Temporary Accommodation
- Experience with provider onboarding and council procurement processes
- Knowledge of nightly-paid accommodation, leasing arrangements and council placement models
- A proven ability to develop council relationships and convert opportunities into business
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills
- The ability to manage your own pipeline and work towards clear commercial targets

Salary & Working Arrangements
Salary: £45,000–£60,000 per year, depending on experience and track record
Contract: 3–6 month temp-to-perm, with permanent employment subject to achieving agreed performance targets
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am–6:00pm
Location: London, SE16 – office-based/in person
