Are you an organised administrator who wants to make a real difference to people's mental health and wellbeing?
We're looking for a Counselling Administrator to join our growing Counselling Service at Leeds Mind. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping people access high-quality counselling support while working as part of a passionate and supportive team.
For more than 30 years, our Counselling Service has provided person-centred counselling to people across Leeds. As demand for mental health support continues to grow, we're investing in the future of the service and this role is central to that development.
About the role
As our Service Administrator, you'll be the first point of contact for many of the people accessing our counselling service. You'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service by:
- Managing referrals, waiting lists and client allocations
- Supporting clients throughout their counselling journey
- Maintaining accurate records and using our CRM systems
- Monitoring appointments, availability and client payments
- Supporting the Service Lead with service development activities
- Working closely with counsellors, trainees, volunteers and external partners
You'll play an important role in creating a welcoming, professional and safe environment for everyone accessing the service.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent administration and organisational skills
- Is confident using Microsoft Office and databases
- Can manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining accuracy
- Has experience handling sensitive and confidential information
- Communicates with warmth, professionalism and empathy
- Shares our commitment to supporting people experiencing mental health difficulties

Working Pattern
The role is 22.5 hours per week and includes Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
