Salary: $91,081 – $100,536 salary package - includes base salary ($80,246 - $88,576), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

The Counselling & Career Development or Disability & Access Officer plays an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, responsive and accessible services to TAFE NSW students. Working as part of the Student Support and Community Group, the role provides administrative, customer service and operational support, including responding to student enquiries, providing accurate and confidential information, scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals and assisting students to access appropriate services and support.

The role also undertakes a range of administrative activities including records and case file management, maintaining databases, preparing documentation and correspondence, collating information for reporting, coordinating workflows and supporting the day-to-day operations of the team.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with students, teachers, support staff, internal teams and external organisations to help ensure students receive timely and appropriate assistance. You will need to communicate professionally and sensitively with a diverse range of customers, manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality, and develop a strong understanding of TAFE NSW services, systems and processes.
